A sister range to our Miller’s Damsels wafers made with named flours. Miller’s Stones are crumbly, all-butter biscuits, satisfying enough to accompany a cup of tea or coffee, but with that hint of sweetness that makes them so good with cheese.
It is the addition of stone-ground wholemeal flour in our Miller’s Stones that gives them a wonderfully nutty texture. To grind the grain in the traditional way the miller uses 2 stones, a fixed stone and a rotating stone both with raised surfaces and groves. It is the action of the two stones working as a team that creates this special flour, and it is the stone’s unique markings that are the inspiration for the design of our biscuit. Miller’s Stones come in two styles: Wheat and Oat. |
